Dr. Michael T. Massey, DDS

Dr. Michael Massey grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois near the town of Eldorado. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana prior to going to Dental School at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During his time in Dental School, Dr. Massey received the Stanley D. Tylman Award for the Senior student who renders complete oral treatment of the highest quality to the patient, the Luz Bondoc Award for the senior student achieving the highest combined average scores on parts I and II of the National Dental Board Examinations at the University of Illinois, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity Award for the student who achieves the highest scholastic rank in the graduating class, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Dr. William S Kramer Award of Excellence, and the John M Spence award in recognition of excellence in preclinical operative dentistry technique.

He trained additionally at Michael Reese Hospital in an oral surgery externship and then after graduation did an additional year of training in a General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the Department of Oral Medicine, Pathology and Surgery. He has been in private practice since 1994 and has practiced in the Champaign area since 1995.

His practice philosophy is one of education of patients and then a deep respect for the ability of the patient to make decisions about their own health and cooperation with their wishes in the timing and selection of treatment options.

His interests include reading, hiking, skiing, continuing education and anything that involves his two daughters.

Dr. Justin R. Ault, DMD

Dr. Ault grew up in Philo, IL, until enlisting in the United States Air Force after graduating from Unity High School in Tolono, Illinois. Dr. Ault became a dental assistant in the United States Air Force stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska, Barksdale AFB in Northwest Louisiana, and Scott AFB in O’Fallon, IL. Dr. Ault attended Eastern Illinois University before obtaining his DMD from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ault was promoted to Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve, where he continues serving his country. After working a year at Massey Family Dentistry in Savoy, Illinois as an associate Dentist. Dr. Ault formally joined the private practice as co-owner of Ault & Massey Family Dentistry in 2022, where he and Dr. Massey specialize in high-quality dental care along with their fantastic staff.

Dr. Ault is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry and Illinois State Dental Society. He enjoys providing high-quality family dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Dr. Ault enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and three children.
